Founded in 2004 for establishing a Skill Development Training Organization Center in Jammu & Kashmir, India unit of Hind Khadi Gramudyog Ashram, (Skill Development Training Organization) today is one of the most reputed Organization in the Valley empanelled with Ministry of Minority Affairs Govt. of India, Accredited and Affiliated/Registered under National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) New Delhi, Board of Technical Education (BOTE) Govt. of J&K.

During the last few years Hind Khadi Gramudyog Ashram (Skill Development Training Organization), has established itself as a well-known entity in the field of Skill Development Trainings. The training facilities at the Organization are comparable with the best in industry and provide an ideal environment for running of various courses offered by the Organization. At Hind Khadi Gramudyog Ashram, quality is the buzzword. The tremendous progress made by the institute and the reputation it commands today is an ample testimony of its commitment to quality.

The right kind of ambience coupled with excellent faculty, lab and other support systems have resulted in excellent performance by its students in all India level NIELIT/BOTE/VTP and other examinations. The Organization has received various commendation certificates for outstanding performance and produced many toppers in the national level Ministry of Minority Affairs/NIELIT/BOTE/VTP examinations.

The institute runs the courses as per syllabus and norms Prescribed by the NSDC/NIELIT/BOTE. However, the unique feature of the Institute has been to include training on latest technological advancement as an integral part of its curriculum.

Aims & Objectives Of The Organization

The aims and objectives for which the Organization is established as under: To work in the field of Health/Science and Information Technology Sector. To held exhibition of the Handicrafts and Agriculture Housing Domestic and they can do any work that Paper Mashie, Crewal, Zaire, Embroidery, Sozni, Kani Shawl weaving, cutting and Handloom weaving, Pashmina spinning, Aristaple, Knitting and Carpet etc. To give all facilities that is Medical Facilities, Computers Software/Computer Hardware, Electrician, Electronics, Fashion Designing, Plumber, Carpenter, Stenography, Welder, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Painter (General) and they can do any work. To act as a gents representatives for the stop age of down, system and other ill treatment faced by women of poor families , so that poor girls and poor boys are able to settle themselves and overcome the present hardships faced by the society in general. To arrange employment among the poor women folk, by introducing different' handicrafts and Industrial Training's and production centers and sale depots in the state and if need to be extended hi other parts of our country also.

To help by financial to assistance the poor families so that they are above to aver come to the present dearness & hardships they are facing and have to other source of income. To encourage the poor families who have been badly affected by present day to day livelihood. To give unique. treatment to all needy persons without creed and cost. To set up Child Care Centre, Health Care Centre, Widow Homes, Youth Hostels, Women Polytechnics Based Child Education Institutions, Women Education Institutions, Women Vocational Training and Production Centers and Social Welfare Centre, for the welfare and development of the women and child in the state for increasing their living standard.

To organize chartable activities & undertake multifarious program’s for the welfare development relief and betterment of the women and child hood in general whether in ruler or urban settings. To conduct a seminars and debates for expressing their ideas and through for removal of unequal ness among the women folk in the society and to give awareness to common people regarding the rights and duties of the women. Some extensive programmes about the welfare and development of the women and child folk in general and its implementation. The help for poor women and child in the community and settle their issue to overcome the difficulties. To do all such lawful acts as are incidental to and conductive to the departments of these aims and objects: To give Trainings of all Engineering & Non Engineering Trades. To hold exhibitions and different Craft Bazar of the handicrafts products in various places of the country. The main propose of framing the society is to development of the social and economical condition of the poor people through handicraft factor i.e. to organize training exhibition, welfare scams and forming groups and clusters of the handicrafts artisans in Rural and Urban areas.
